14 Tuberculosis tests were reviewed today at Phoenix Elementary, all 14 came back negative.
52 tests were reviewed Thursday at Phoenix Elementary. 51 of the 52
were negative. The 1 abnormal result was a member of the staff and they were referred to their healthcare provider for further testing. All students reviewed Thursday were negative for TB. An abnormal test result only means than an individual has been exposed to TB and that further testing is needed. Those with abnormal test results will be excluded from school until they are cleared by a healthcare professional. There will be a routine follow up test in eight weeks for those that have received a TB skin
test.
