Christmas Trees On Sale in Grand Forks

Today isn't only Black Friday, but it marks the first day for Christmas Tree sales here in Grand Forks.

T&C on South Washington Street has been selling trees for the past 20 years. It's located directly in front of Blockbuster. Owner Charlie Miller says they're hoping to get a good handful of people today after folks are done Black Friday shopping. T&C gets its trees from a tree farm in Wisconsin And Miller says it's nice to get the same customers year after year.

Miller: "We get a lot of repeat customers, a lot of really good customers. As far as the trees go, Frazier fir, 11 dollars a foot, Balsam fir which are 10 dollars a foot, and then we have Black Hill spruce and white pine which are 7 dollars a foot."

T&C sold almost 300 trees last year and it's hoping for the same outcome this year.
