New Walmart Coming to Devils Lake

Lake Region shoppers will soon have a much larger retail option -- Walmart is building a new store.

Lake Region shoppers will soon have a much larger retail option -- Walmart is building a new store.

The store will still be in Devils Lake but it will sit on a new 60 acre site. The city of Devils Lake is annexing most of that land and it needs a lot of work before Walmart can start building a new store. The public hearing on the annexation hasn't been scheduled yet, but the city could take control of the land by early January. Adam Ladwig has more.
