Police, Others Who Made Difference Honored in Ceremony Wednesday
Some officers of the Grand Forks Police Department received special recognition at an award ceremony today. Officers were honored for saving lives, firearms proficiency, physical fitness, years of service and appreciation.By: Melanie Orlins, WDAZ

Some officers of the Grand Forks Police Department received special recognition at an award ceremony today. Officers were honored for saving lives, firearms proficiency, physical fitness, years of service and appreciation.
Lieutenant Grant Schiller was recognized for serving the GFPD for 20 years. And even those whose lives were saved recognized the people who were on scene first even though they weren't officers, but the survivor's family. Roger Pohlman received the Sergeant Wayne "Andy" Anderson Meritorious Service Award.
