East Grand Forks city leaders are faced with the decision to either join forces with Polk County dispatch or continue to run solo, but that comes at a cost.

East Grand Forks city leaders are faced with the decision to either join forces with Polk County dispatch or continue to run solo, but that comes at a cost.

The council originally wanted to appoint a task force to research the impacts of either decision but as election neared other issues took priority. And, Mike Pokrzywinksi thinks joining forces has the possibility of saving the city of that three percent levy increase that was suggested by City Administrator Scott Huizenga. Melanie Orlins has more.
