Investigation Continues as Slain Minnesota Police Officer Laid to Rest

A 31-year-old Cold Spring police officer who was known as a hometown boy and the department jokester will be laid to rest today. Officer Tom Decker was shot and killed Thursday in the line of duty. About 3,200 people came out for a day of memories, tears, love and lingering questions.

A 31-year-old Cold Spring police officer who was known as a hometown boy and the department jokester will be laid to rest today.

Officer Tom Decker was shot and killed Thursday in the line of duty. About 3,200 people came out for a day of memories, tears, love and lingering questions. The investigation into Decker's murder is ongoing and the number of officers involved in the investigation has doubled. Police haven't found the 20 gauge shotgun used to kill Decker and no one has been charged. Reporter Mark Saxenmeyer has the story.
