An award-winning journalist returned to his hometown of Crookston today to talk to students about the struggles of being young.

Tim Madigan did that by sharing his experiences with famed PBS character Fred Rogers from Mr. Rogers Neighborhood. Madigan's encounter with Rogers left quite an impact. He says he discovered that Rogers' kindness portrayed on the show was no act, and Madigan wants to continue that message in his book about Rogers called "I'm proud of you." Madigan received his Journalism degree from UND.
