Two Men Killed in Friday Collision Identified

Two men who died as a result of a head-on collision Friday afternoon have been identified.

86-year-old Melvin Finstrom of Buxton was traveling northbound on County Road 81 when he and 78-year-old Lloyd Thorsgard, traveling southbound, collided while negotiating a curve. Finstrom was pronounced dead at the scene, while Thorsgard was transported to Altru where he later died as a result of his injuries.
