The parents of two children killed when a semi ran a red light two years ago near Grand Forks are now filing a lawsuit against the driver, UPS and two other companies.

Kevin and Catana Boyer are seeking at least $50,000. The Boyers claim recklessness, carelessness and negligence caused the accident. The driver Steven Nelson along with two Jamestown companies have denied the allegations. The accident ripped open the Boyers van, throwing one of the children out. A hearing in the civil case is scheduled for next month in state district court.
