The communities of Park River and Grafton are today mourning the loss of a standout citizen and influential doctor.
O.S. Omotunde died suddenly overnight last night. He served patients as a surgeon and family physician at the First Care Health Center in Park River for 23 years and at Unity Medical Center in Grafton for 20 years. Omotunde was born in Nigeria and was in the process of setting up a clinic for underprivileged medical patients there. Staff at Unity Medical Center say the loss feels like the loss of a family member. Omotunde's brother Josh continues to serve the Grafton community at Unity Medical Center.
