UND SETS SPRING ENROLLMENT RECORD

UND has the most students ever on campus for a Spring semester. The fourth week final snapshot total is 12,733. That almost 700 more than 2009 and well above the preview spring high number of 12,376 set in 2005.

UND's Graduate School has its largest-ever enrollment -- fall or spring -- of 2,351. That's an 8.7 percent increase over last year's count.

Dr. Robert Boyd, UND Vice President for Student and Outreach Services, said he is pleased with the enrollment, which showed growth pretty much across the board. "Our enrollment picture is a positive one. It is clear an increasing number of high school students selected UND as their choice for furthering their education. At the same time, many undergraduate and graduate students are finding UND's offerings online to be an attractive way to access its programs," said Boyd.
