Fargo Police Say Arrest Made in Gate City Bank Robbery

FARGO - Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a robbery at Gate City Bank in south Fargo.
Lt. Joel Vettel said in a news release that police are holding a news conference at 4 p.m. today at which they will identify the suspect.
Police said a man in his 50s entered Gate City Bank at 1501 S. University Drive on Monday about 4:05 p.m., indicated he had a weapon and demanded cash.
Several employees were on hand at the time, and after handing over an unknown sum of money, the man left on foot in a northeastern direction, police said.
Video of the suspect was recorded by the bank's security cameras, and photos from that footage were released to local media Tuesday.
