Six men died Wednesday in a car accident on icy I-94 near Jamestown.
The men were in a pickup heading west when the driver lost control, went thru the median and was struck by an eastbound semi. It happened just before 11 am near a main exit into Jamestown. Some of the men were pronounced dead at the scene while others were taken to the Jamestown hospital where they died. The men's identities are being withheld pending notification of relatives. The driver of the semi was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Police say the interstate was extremely icy from Jamestown to Fargo with compacted snow in some areas.
