City Leaders to Discuss East Grand Forks Lagoon Problems

East Grand Forks leaders will soon discuss its leaking waste water lagoons, a project that's been on the city's to-do list for quite some time.

East Grand Forks leaders will soon discuss its leaking waste water lagoons, a project that's been on the city's to-do list for quite some time.

The city has two options. It can fix the old lagoons or connect water systems with Grand Forks, and both come at major cost. This sole issue was a big factor in the mayoral election this past November, and whatever city council ends up deciding it'll have heavy effects on the city's future. The city will go into further discussion at the next work session in January.
