A Cando man has been sentenced on a charge of the possession of materials involving the sexual exploitation of minors.

A Cando man has been sentenced on a charge of the possession of materials involving the sexual exploitation of minors.
46-year-old Jerry Gibson plead guilty to the charge in August and was sentenced this week.
U.S. District Judge Daniel Hovland sentenced Gibson to 6 and a half years in federal prison, after that 5 years of supervised release.
Gibson had images on his computer of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
Gibson admitted to possessing the images and must now register as a sex offender.
