Little Optimism for Timely Passage of New Farm Bill

Congressman Collin Peterson says he is not optimistic a new farm bill will pass anytime soon.

The current bill was extended because a compromise between Democrats and Republicans could not be reached late last year. Collin Peterson, who is a ranking member of the House committee on Agriculture says because of the attention on the fiscal cliff late last year the farm bill was basically taken out of lawmakers' hands. David Schwab has more.
