The Blue Ribbon Commission on housing put a final stamp of approval on the committee's action plan this evening. The report will now go to the mayor's office where Michael Brown is expected to get the ball rolling.
Studies show the city's affordability situation isn't at a crisis point but it is at a point where the city needs to take note. The big question this evening from commission members though? Will this report just sit on a desk, and if not, exactly who will implement these priorities? Some more measures to help improve supply range from looking at how infrastructure is financed here in town to a need for new housing data to be released every quarter. Melanie Orlins reports.
