A Grand Forks man believes a free lung cancer screening may have saved his life, and now the screening will become an annual event.

Garrie Etherton was diagnosed with a very early stage of lung cancer and will undergo surgery in the next couple of months. The Cancer Center of North Dakota held its first free lung cancer screening in November and several people received some bad news, but the screening may have saved their lives. Lezlie Johnson has more.
