Grand Forks Holds Community-Wide Celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Grand Forks celebrated this Martin Luther King Jr. Day with its first ever community-wide celebration.

Grand Forks celebrated this Martin Luther King Jr. Day with its first ever community-wide celebration.

The theme was "Team Work Makes the Dream Work." The teamwork theme was definitely reflected today as students and educators from UND and the University of Minnesota Crookston started planning in October to make this happen. Organizers say this will become an annual event and they hope to make it even bigger for next year. Kayla Strayer has more.
