COMING OFF A WEEKEND HOME SPLIT AGAINST WISCONSIN, THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH DAKOTA WOMEN'S HOCKEY TEAM NOW FINDS THEMSELVES IN A MUST WIN SITUATION..NOT ONLY FOR JUST THIS UPCOMING WEEKEND AT ST. CLOUD STATE..BUT EVERY WEEKEND THE REST OF THE WAY.

SITTING AT 14-10 OVERALL, UND NEEDS TO FINISH ALMOST PERFECT IN EVERY REGULAR SEASON SERIES TO REACH THE POSTSEASON.

THE TEAM SITS AT FIFTH IN THE WCHA STANDINGS WITH 27 POINTS. THE GOOD NEWS FOR UND FANS..THE OPPONENT THIS WEEKEND IS TIED FOR LAST IN THE CONFERENCE.

AND HEAD COACH BRIAN IDALSKI LIKES SOME THINGS HE'S SEEING FROM HIS TEAM.

IDALSKI, "I THOUGHT WE PLAYED REALLY WELL(VS. WISCONSIN). WE ARE DOING A LOT OF GOOD THINGS. SOME OF THE DECISION MAKING HERE OR THERE NEEDS TO BE A LITTLE BIT SHARPER BUT FOR THE MOST PART THOSE WERE TWO VERY SOLID GAMES FOR US AND SOMETHING WE CAN BUILD ON DOWN THE STRETCH."

UND TOOK THE SERIES WHEN THEY MET SCSU IN GRAND FORKS THIS PAST OCTOBER GETTING WINS OF 3-1 AND 1-0 OVER THE HUSKIES.

KNOWING THAT EVERY POINT MATTERS, THE PLAYERS KNOW IT'S DO OR DIE TIME.

GOALIE SHELBY AMSLEY-BENZIE SAID, "THE REST OF THE YEAR IS BIG FOR US, POINTS WISE, WE NEED EVERY POINT. WE HAVE TO GO OUT THERE, WE CAN'T LOSE."
