East Grand Forks sweeps Red River, wins Gambucci Cup
East Grand Forks bounces back, gets season sweep over Red River.By: Dan Corey, WDAZ
East Grand Forks boys hockey bounced back from two losses in a big way on Thursday night. The Green Wave (14-2-2)not only got the season sweep of rival Grand Forks Red River(10-4-1), they also took home the Gambucci Cup. The Wave rolled to a 4-0 win, scoring all four goals in the first period. Dixon Bowen led the scoring with two goals.
