Weather Doesn't Stop Grand Forks Bike Racers

Extreme athletes from Grand Forks and all over the world competed in the Arrowhead 135 this week which is a 135 mile bike race in International Falls.

Two men from Grand Forks, Andy Magness and Scott Jensen completed the race despite the heavy snow and strong winds. Magness says at one point he was pushing his bike through the snow at two miles per hour and had to stop and sleep on the side of the trail overnight. This year more than half the participants had to drop out due to the extreme nature of the race.
