One Abnormal Result in Winship TB Tests

Grand Forks Public Health officials say one of 23 tuberculosis tests at Winship Elementary came back abnormal.

An abnormal result does not mean the person has TB, only that the person has been exposed to TB and further testing is needed. Students and staff were tested on Monday after an active case of T-B was identified at Winship. The student with abnormal test results will not be able to go to school until they are cleared by a healthcare professional.
