Some East Grand Forks city leaders are heading to St. Paul early next week to ask state legislators to help them out. On the top of the city's priority list are three things: the campground, pool and wastewater project.

Council members want to add more spots to the campground which they believe will be easy to do in terms of cost, but it's the pool and wastewater project which has Mayor Stauss and other council members wondering if there's money for the state to spare. Stauss, "We're just going to check things out, you don't know if there's going to be a bonding bill, you don't know if you can be included in that bonding bill but we're going to talk to the legislators about that." There will be a public forum on Monday for the wastewater project.
