Local leaders met with Minnesota Senator Al Franken's staff to discuss ideas to bring more jobs to the area.
Franken has introduced a bill he calls "Cash For Jobs" which would provide 5 billion U.S dollars for wage subsidies and incentives for employers to create jobs.
The Franken group also traveled to Thief River Falls this afternoon to talk jobs there as well.
Franken's group plans on visiting 15 Minnesota cities over the next over two weeks.
