People from all over the country have come to North Dakota, braving the elements to learn the art of dog-sledding. An annual dog sledding workshop attracts both experts and people who have never been on a sled before.

Drganizers of the workshop say dog-sledding helps people step out of their comfort zone. People came from as far away as California to learn the sport, with lessons including how to organize and control dogs on a picket line. Organizer Helen Corlew says working with dogs helps people think outside the box.
