Tonight was the last meeting for the Alerus Center task force.A group that has been taking a critical look at the way the events center is run.
The task force has come up with seven page draft of recommendations.
Task Force members would like to see relations improve with other major entities like the Canad inn, Greater Grand Forks convention and visitors bureau and the University of North Dakota.
The committee would also like the Alerus Center to bring any unexpected events to the city council, that will make the city more liable for that event.
Bill HutchisonAlerus Center Task Force Member:"They always budget to break even or to make a little bit of money but how often have they done that and I'm not knocking that, I'm just saying that's one of the reasons were here."
The final draft of the Report will be sent to the Alerus Commission and they have until the beginning of March to bring up any changes.
