Chase and Shooting in Minot Leads to Charges

A car chase and shooting in Minot over the weekend has led to several charges against three people.

MINOT, N.D. (AP) — A car chase and shooting in Minot over the weekend has led to several charges against three people.

Police say 19-year-old Stephen Brewer was chased early Saturday by a vehicle containing the three suspects, and that a bullet went through his windshield and struck him below his left eye. The injury was not life-threatening.

The Minot Daily News reports that 19-year-old Nathan Schlosser is charged with attempted murder, terrorizing and reckless endangerment. Eighteen-year-old Tegan Lamotte is charged with conspiracy to commit murder, terrorizing and reckless endangerment. Nineteen-year-old Kayla Wright is charged with terrorizing.

Attorneys for Schlosser and Lamotte did not immediately respond to Associated Press requests for comment Tuesday. Court documents did not list an attorney for Wright.
