The rash of synthetic drug cases which killed two local teens seems to have halted for now. Police on both sides of the river say that's because kids have finally learned a lesson.
Police believe there are two reasons why the batch of lethal cases have stopped, one being that the culprits are off the streets and the other that maybe teens have finally realized how dangerous these drugs are and the prison sentence associated with them. State legislators are currently discussing House Bill 1133, a law which would make any mimic batches of synthetics drugs illegal.
