Red River Gets the Sweep Over Central
Grand Forks Red River defeated Grand Forks Central Monday night in girls and boys basketball.By: Dan Corey, WDAZ
The Red River boys basketball team moved into a first-place tie with Fargo Shanley as they defeated cross-town rival Grand Forks Central 80-61 Monday night. The Riders moved to 13-1 on the season while the Knights fell to 2-13.
Red River also won the girls game beating Central 74-42. Ellie Ripplinger paced the Riders with 29 points. Red River girls are now 10-5 with Central sitting at 2-11.
