Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton payed a visit to East Grand Forks this afternoon to discuss issues the city will face this year.

He touched on bonding for the state park, education cuts and waste water funding, among other things. Those in East Grand Forks fear the possible tax impacts down the road. Leaders are worried some local businesses might take a big blow if Minnesota adds sales tax and North Dakota nixes it.

Stauss asked for a $250,000 bond for the state park, and although Dayton didn't have a direct answer Stauss says it's for sure a "go".
