DUI Saturation this WeekendLocal law enforcement will be out in force this weekend looking for drunk drivers.
Local law enforcement will be out in force this weekend looking for drunk drivers.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol, Grand Forks Police and Sheriff's Departments will be working together in a DUI saturation patrol.
They say the saturation usually get ore drunk driving arrests than the sobriety check points because officers are actively looking for drunk drivers.
Kevin Robson: "The check point serves as more of a deterrent where as the saturation patrol is more of an active, going out and looking for it rather than sitting back and seeing what comes to you."
The extra patrol is funded with a grant from the North Dakota Department of Transportation.
