Firefighters were called to a late Friday morning car fire at the intersection of 9th and Cherry.
When crews arrived the car was completely engulfed in flames. Firefighters say it only took a matter of minutes to extinguish the fire. It started in the engine compartment and is said to be caused by a faulty fuel line. The man driving the vehicle managed to get out safely.
