Some local middle school students ventured out of classrooms, to do some jumping around today. Dozens of East Grand Forks kids went to the recently opened Northern Air trampoline park as part of Exploratory Day this Wednesday.

Teachers say the goal is to introduce them to different activities and exercises. The Grand Forks Park District used to operate the building, but recently moved to Choice Health and Wellness Center. This move allowed the owners of Northern Air to purchase the space and start their dream. The director of the park district says it's a win-win for all.

John Staley, Grand Forks Park Distric Director, "We're just delighted that this facility could go on and be used for this kind of purpose. Again the Park District's about recreation, and to see this facility converted into a different form of recreation is very gratifying for us." Northern Air is now open every weekend.
