The bill to legalize gay marriage in Minnesota has enough votes to clear its first hurdle in the House, even as gay marriage opponents are gathering at the Capitol trying to stop it.

Nine of 17 members of the House Civil Law Committee say they'll vote yes at a hearing Tuesday. Steve Tellier has more.
