Hunting and Fishing a Billion Dollar Business in ND

Hunting and fishing is big business for North Dakota. A new report says hunting and fishing contribute about $1.4 billion a year to North Dakota's economy.

The research by North Dakota State University shows that hunters and anglers spent $643 million on equipment, travel, lodging, food and other items. Those expenditures generated nearly $727 million in secondary economic benefits.
