Rysavy Named Michigan, ND Mayor

A nail-biter mayoral election in Michigan, ND has been decided. The race was extremely tight. Longtime resident Lauri Rysavy was elected with approximately four votes over Ron Nelson.

A nail-biter mayoral election in Michigan, ND has been decided. The race was extremely tight. Longtime resident Lauri Rysavy was elected with approximately four votes over Ron Nelson.

This after Bernie Linstad resigned as mayor last November after controversy erupted over a water billing issue. Locals told WDAZ earlier that they believe it's time to move on from the controversy. Voters also seem to agree that the city needs to work on its finances as soon as possible.
