An inquiry into allegations about embattled Chancellor Hamid Shirvani has found "no substantive evidence of willful wrongdoing."

An inquiry into allegations about embattled Chancellor Hamid Shirvani has found "no substantive evidence of willful wrongdoing."

During a special State Board of Higher Education conference call Thursday afternoon, North Dakota University System General Counsel Claire Holloway said many of the allegations, including willful violations of open meeting laws, were already publicly addressed. She says the board may need to go back and retroactively provide agendas and minutes for past meetings but she said board members, not the chancellor, are responsible for ensuring meetings comply with the laws.
