Preparing for college can be overwhelming. A statewide program is aiming to make it easier for North Dakota students to find out how to pay for school.
"College Goal North Dakota" is touring the state helping students apply for financial aid. Representatives will be at local high schools in Carrington, Devils Lake, Grand Forks and Fort Totten over the next week.
Students can get assistance with any financial aid or scholarship forms, but the program is geared for the FAFSA - Free Application for Federal Student Aid form.
Katherine Nettell, Lake Region State College: "The financial aid sessions. Most of them are held in a high school or college, but it's really geared to anyone going back to college or going to college. It could be a first year freshman coming out of high school. It could be a sophomore, junior, senior in college who needs help filling out their financial aid application."
