The U.S. Customs and Border Patrol is hoping to grow popularity in the Red River Valley through a program aimed at helping frequent business flyers pass through international airports faster.

An official we spoke with Friday says this program, called Global Entry, is all about eliminating hassles and lines for frequent business travelers. Individuals can apply online at http://www.cpb.gov. There is a $100 fee, but if approved the clearance is good for ten years. To get the clearance, you must pass a background check, provide fingerprints and complete an in-person interview.
