Crookston Man Sentenced to 26 Years in Father's Murder
A Crookston man is sentenced to 26 years for murdering his father. 28-year-old Jacob Abel plead guilty to second-degree murder for stabbing his father, Jerome Abel, nearly two dozen times in their Crookston apartment.

A Crookston man is sentenced to 26 years for murdering his father. 28-year-old Jacob Abel plead guilty to second-degree murder for stabbing his father, Jerome Abel, nearly two dozen times in their Crookston apartment.
Abel was upset with his father and got a knife from the kitchen and stabbed him in the head and neck. A grand jury handed down the first degree murder charge and a second degree non-premeditated murder charge.
