The commander of the 319th Air Wing at the Grand Forks Air Force Base has been relieved of his command.

A statement released today says Colonel Tim Bush was relieved of his command today for failure to comply with physical fitness standards. It says he was not relieved for alleged misconduct or wrongdoing. Bush assumed command in Grand Forks in July 2011.

The Grand Forks wing's vice commander Colonel Christopher Mann has been appointed as interim wing commander until a replacement can assume the full-time duties of commander.
