East Grand Forks police are still looking for the robber who knocked a man off his motorized wheelchair and stole the 74-year-old man's wallet in the alley-way behind the VFW last Thursday night.

Police say this the robber, Michael Wade Zvirblis faces ten years in prison or a 20,000 dollar fine. Police say Zvirblis was supposed to turn himself in to Grand Forks law enforcement on non-related misdemeanor charges Tuesday night but never did. He was last seen Friday morning at the Grand Forks Mission. Police have received reports which indicate Zvirblis is homeless. East Grand Forks Police say investigators are working on a nationwide pickup of the warrant.

Sgt. Scott Jordheim, EGF Police: "We have canvased the entire downtown throughout the week going to all the places he has been known to associate, the indication is that he could have left town so now we're trying to get the warrant picked up in the continental united states."

Zvirblis also has a warrant out of Florida for a similar incident. Anyone who may have seen or know Zvirblis' whereabouts are asked to call East Grand Forks or Grand Forks Police at 218-773-1104 (EGF) or 701-787-8000 (GF).
