NO VOTE ON FIGHTING SIOUX NICKNAME
Motion to retire Fighting Sioux nickname and logo dies for lack of second.
The Fighting Sioux nickname and logo will not be retired yet. A motion was made at the SBHE meeting to retire it, but that motion died because no one would second it. Now the issue will be heard at the appeal hearing on March 23. Watch for more updates on wdaz.com and on WDAZ News at 5, 6, and 10:00.
