Two male juveniles have been arrested for a rash of tires slashings which occurred this week in Grafton and Minto.

Thursday morning, Grafton Police responded to 23 reports of tires being slashed in town. In addition, the Walsh County Sheriff's office responded to at least 13 reports in Minto. It's estimated there is more than 20,000 dollars in damages. The tires slashed included those on a sheriff deputy's patrol car in Minto, helping lead to the arrests of the two boys.

Ron Jurgens, Walsh County Sheriff's Office: "we had a person witness an event and call the sheriff's office and that is pretty much how it started. And then the tires from the Grafton incident were discovered from the police department."

Because of the amount of damages both juveniles face felony charges.
