We tried to find a few businesses around Grand Forks who are just as excited about March Madness as we are here at WDAZ. Some say they're already disappointed in their picks and others chose solely on the team names. For some places, it's tradition.
Adam Stusynski, Rhombus Guys: "Probably since we've opened we've had a pool going on, probably about 10-15 employees getting into it."
For others, it's a different story.
Binky Lee, XL93: "I picked UNC to win, and Trevor went with Gonzaga because he says it sounds like a sneeze."
Even President Obama fills a bracket out. And here at WDAZ...
Dan Corey, WDAZ Sports: "...Rob Hudson right here, Wisconsin as his champion... he's out for good."
Well... We take it pretty seriously.
Dan: "It's unlike any other sporting event."
Most of us...
Terry Dullum, WDAZ News: "Who do I think is going to win? I could answer this question if I knew who was in it."
Spend a few minutes at the station and you'll figure out Dan Corey is a March Madness Maniac.
Dan: "March Madness is my favorite time of the year - the best four days in sports."
A popular pick around the office is Gonzaga, as it is elsewhere, too.
Adam: "I think this year -- I think I did pick Gonzaga but they're struggling. I don't think they're going to do it, I think it's going to go Duke."
More than 25 of us are in on the fun and crossing our fingers we chose the right team.
