A local thrift shop is helping out those in need by lending vouchers to shoppers. Retail Therapy on South Columbia Road lets those who benefit through CVIC services to come in and get what they need at no cost.

Store owner Joann Boushey says usually when people leave their homes due to a bad situation they leave with nothing. Boushey opened the store nearly a year ago and has helped 45 people with the CVIC since.

Joann: "They're very grateful and gracious and a lot of times they leave here in tears because they're just excited that there's somebody out there helping them."

To donate, you're asked to drop off gently used clothing during normal business hours. The store is located four doors down from Scheels.
