A silver lining to our late, cold spring?

Not everybody is complaining about our extended winter with plenty of snow still on the ground. At the Frost Fire ski area near Walhalla boarders and skiers are enjoying one of the best springs for their sport in a very long time.

While I didn't strap on the skis I did talk to plenty people who did and were exited about it this late ride into the year.

Dylan Peters, Nate Braun and friends are from Manitoba and on spring break, spending it where they've spent most weekends -- hitting the slope at the Frost Fire ski area.

Braun: "Its been amazing, like we have had some much more snow than other years."

Peters: "Way better. So much more snow."

Frost Fire owner Richard Johnson says ski attendance numbers are up by a third this year over last, and he has mother nature to thank for that.
