(GRAND RAPIDS, MI) -- The trip to Grand Rapids marks the 11th consecutive time UND's men's hockey team has made the NCAA tournament which now chalks up as the longest streak in the nation.

But entering Friday's region semifinal matchup with Niagara, UND is coming off a loss. The 4-3 overtime win by Colorado College in last Thursday's WCHA Final FIve quarterfinal marks the only time in three years UND heads into the national tournament following a loss.

But the UND coaches and players say they're not worried.

Some bright spots for UND fans going into Friday's 4:30 matchup with the Purple Eagles. The last time these two teams met in the NCAA Tournament was 2000 when UND beat Niagara 4-1 on the way to winning the national championship. The last time UND played a game in Grand Rapids was 1997 when UND defeated Cornell in the west regional. That UND team also went on to take home the national title.
