Two people were burned in a weekend accident at the American Crystal Sugar plant in East Grand Forks.
The East Grand Forks Fire Department responded to the call shortly after 6 p.m. Saturday.
The two unidentified adult males were transported to Altru Hospital. However, condition reports were not released for the unidentified men.
While media reports indicated the men suffered burns from near-boiling water, those reports were not officially confirmed by fire department or hospital spokespersons.
The Minnesota office of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration is reviewing details of the accident today, according to James Honerman, OSHA spokesman. He said the agency will determine its response once the review is completed.
Meanwhile, OSHA is continuing to review a Feb. 6 accident at the East Grand Forks factory, according to Honerman.
In the February incident, an unidentified worker was seriously burned when hot syrupy liquid reportedly spewed out of a large tank.
